Fuller Craft Museum loves our volunteers! In addition to having fun and supporting the museum, volunteers are offered many benefits including invitations to special events, educational opportunities, a 10% shop discount, and more.

Guest Services Volunteers:

Guest Services volunteers act as ambassadors to welcome visitors to the Museum. Duties may include greeting and orientating visitors, supporting wayfinding, providing simple explanations on exhibitions, and simply engaging visitors with small talk. Hours available throughout the week; preferred shifts Saturday/Sunday 11AM-2PM.

Museum Educators (Docents):

Museum Educators are the volunteer team that makes all things possible! From leading tours, to greeting guests, to assisting with events, Educators can be found in every corner of the Museum. With a commitment of just 12 hours per year, you could join this stellar group that supports the Museum’s mission to inspire imaginations and a love of contemporary craft. They receive perks for their work too!

Here’s what they’re saying: “The other docents have become my second family. They are a wonderful group of people that are caring, energetic, generous, and although they are not all artists, they all love art.” – Laura, Museum Educator

Want to learn more? Email Deana Weatherly, Learning Programs Coordinator, at for more information.

For those who want to work closely with our Facilities and Operations team! We are seeking either individuals or groups who would be interested in working on the grounds of the museum. Commitment could range widely, depending on the type of project engaged, and all are welcome, including corporate and organizational groups interested in volunteer work.
