Join us for a four-week journey into the world of folk art through wood carving! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn traditional techniques to create charming, whimsical bird sculptures that capture the essence of folk art. No prior wood carving experience is required, though experienced carvers or wood workers are welcome.
Leslie Mulledy (she/her/hers) is a wood carver with 45+ years of experience. She’s also an experienced fine artist and teacher.
This class requires sitting or standing at a table that is 30 inches high for the duration of the class, using sharp tools, as well as hand strength and hand-eye coordination. For more accessibility information regarding this class, please email cbest@fullercraft.org.
