Beginners and practiced basket weavers are welcome to herald the beginning of autumn with this one day basketry workshop. The apple basket is a great basket to create and use throughout your home. The basket is completed using a bushel style structure. The student can select from over 20 different colors to accent their basket. The completed piece is 8” in diameter and stands 5” tall.
Born and raised among the Amish community in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, William Krier (he/him/his) developed an interest in the art of basket weaving and has been practicing this art since the 1980’s. He enjoys the challenge that basketry brings. Using a variety of agents from commercial dyes to nut hull stain to teas, William dyes and stains all of his own reed.
