Volunteer Opportunities (Spring 2022):

Fuller Craft loves our volunteers and we are grateful for their support! In addition to having fun and supporting the museum, volunteers are offered many benefits including invitations to special events, educational opportunities, a 10% shop discount, and more.

Guest Services Volunteers: volunteers act as ambassadors to welcome visitors to the museum. Duties may include greeting and orientating visitors, explaining facilities, providing simple explanations on exhibitions and/or simply engaging visitors with small talk. Hours available throughout the week; preferred shifts Sat/Sun 11-2. Interested? Contact Emma Ellis at for more information.

Development Committee – do you have experience in professional fundraising, membership, events, or other larger scale nonprofit/charity fundraising? We’d love to hear from you! This is a quarterly meeting for 2-3 hours. Interested? Contact Erin McGough at

Educators/Docents – seeking volunteers interested in working in a variety of educational pursuits – school programs, tours, front desk “greeters,” weekend ambassadors at community events, etc. Commitments range widely depending on type of work, and all are welcome. Interested? Contact Emma Ellis at for more information.

Exhibitions Committee – this committee uses its knowledge of the craft, museum, exhibitions, art fields to imagine, evaluate, identify, and commitment to our changing exhibition schedule. Exhibitions are usually planned 2-3 years in advance and the committee meets 2x a year for 2-3 hours. We are especially looking for people with professional knowledge of the arts/crafts field, museum work, have networks of like-minded or artist circles, or who otherwise have worked with material culture for educational purposes. Interested? Contact Beth McLaughlin at

Gardeners/Landscapers– working closely Paul Tantillo, Director of Facilities & Operations, we are seeking either individuals or groups who would be interested in working on the grounds of the museum. Commitment could range widely, depending on the type of project engaged, and all are welcome, including corporate and organizational groups interested in volunteer work. Interested?
