Creativity is the heart and soul of every sculpture. Sculptors use their imagination to transform ideas and dreams into three-dimensional realities through blocks of stone, lumps of clay, glass, scrap metal, and even found objects. In Grounds for Play: Sculptures that Excite the Imagination, members of the New England Sculptors Association showcase their whimsical, thoughtful, complex, and astonishing works in the woods and walking areas of Fuller Craft Museum’s 22-acre surroundings. Visitors will be able to experience this exhibition before they enter the main building, as well as during their visit through the galleries and courtyard. See https://www.nesculptors.org/ for more information about the organization.
