Barbara Andrus: Fieldwork

Exhibition dates:

Barbara Andrus, Fieldwork, 2014.

Fieldwork explores the relationship between art and environment, and the boundaries between outside and indoor spaces. Maine artist Barbara Andrus will create large-scale installation work constructed of organic materials gathered by the artist during her daily walks in her rural surroundings. While some construction will occur in her studio, part of the installation will be created onsite at Fuller Craft Museum, allowing visitors to observe the artist as she constructs a dreamlike, immersive environment conveying allusions of comfort, scale and domestic iconography.
