Children love learning about the wonderful medium of clay! In this introduction to hand-building techniques our experienced teachers will explain all steps of the clay process and encourage individual creativity. Pottery: Intro to Wheel Throwing

This 8-week course focuses on all the basics of working on a pottery wheel. This introductory-level course is for beginner through advanced students (ages 16+) with individualized instruction that will cover basic skills, control, and self-expression, as well as surface decoration and glazing. Open Pottery Studio Overview Open studio is offered exclusively for Fuller Craft Museum Members with prior experience in ceramics and need a studio to work in. There is a studio monitor but, no instruction.  Session fee (per ten weeks) includes use of all Fuller Craft Museum ceramic studio equipment including: Wheels, sink, hand building tables, wedging table, throwing tools, wire tools, stamps and other hand tools located in the ceramic studio. Memebership to Fuller Craft Museum is required.
