Mosaics: Animals and Birds

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all workshop registrations will happen online only. 8-week Course. An introduction for both beginning and advanced students to the art of creating images of animals and birds in mosaic. This goes beyond the usual introductory class in both scale and technique. Participants will each work on their own mosaic panel in the size of their choice. Topics include dynamic composition, color theory, mosaic materials and techniques, mortar, and grout. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all workshop registrations will happen online only. 6-week course. Experience the joy of using your hands to create unique ceramic pieces. We will combine a variety of hand-building techniques including: slab, coil, and pinch, to create sculptural and functional objects.
