This 8-week course focuses on all the basics of working on a pottery wheel. This introductory-level course is for beginner through advanced students with individualized instruction that will cover basic skills, control, and self-expression, as well as surface decoration and glazing. Basic to advanced wheel throwing techniques will be taught. Hand Embroidery Basics

In this class you’ll learn basic hand embroidery stitches, how to transfer patterns, and ideas for how to use embroidery in your craft projects. Open studio is offered exclusively for Fuller Craft Museum Members with prior experience in ceramics and need a studio to work in. There is a studio monitor but, no instruction.  Session fee (per ten weeks) includes use of all Fuller Craft Museum ceramic studio equipment including: Wheels, sink, hand building tables, wedging table, throwing tools, wire tools, and other hand tools located in the ceramic studio as well as firing and glazing. Intro to Jewelry and Metalsmithing

6-week class. Metalsmithing is typically defined as the practice of forming and fabricating metal into jewelry. While most commercial jewelry is crafted in gold, silver, and platinum, in this course you will work in copper, brass and/or silver.
