An introduction to the potter’s wheel and hand-built pottery for students ages 12 - 16.  Projects may include cups, bowls, and more as they learn the basic techniques of pottery. Intro to Jewelry and Metalsmithing

This 6-week class will cover essential metalsmithing skills such as sawing, filing, soldering, riveting, and texturing metal. In addition to these essential fabrication techniques, the science of metallurgy will be touched upon and students will learn why metal behaves the way it does so that they may control it more effectively.
