This 8-week course focuses on all the basics of working on a pottery wheel. This introductory-level course is for beginner through advanced students (ages 16+) with individualized instruction that will cover basic skills, control, and self-expression, as well as surface decoration and glazing. Learn to make a simple wooden bowl on a lathe in this two-day workshop. Students will learn safe use of the lathe and tools and basic bowl turning technique, turn and finish a bowl to take home by the second day. Open Pottery Studio Overview Open studio is offered exclusively for Fuller Craft Museum Members with prior experience in ceramics and need a studio to work in.
