Woven Wall Hanging Workshop

Get in on one of the hottest fiber trends and learn to make your very own custom woven wall hanging at this beginning weaving class. Utilizing picture frames and found materials, we’ll experiment with the basic weaving processes to create a fun, one-of-a-kind wall hanging. Let your creativity flow and enjoy the flexible process of this fun craft. Some materials are included, there will be lots of fun fibers to choose from, but please feel free to bring any special yarn or fabric you may want to use in your own wall hanging.

Skill Level: All (Ages 16 – Adult)
Class size: Minimum 4 / Maximum 10

Students are encouraged to bring the following:

Suitable scissors for yarn or sewing,
Additional yarns: DK to Aran weight (size 4) in your preferred colors
Optional fancy yarns for texture: eyelash, chenille, ribbon, fabric strips, etc.
Found objects: e.g. sea glass, shells stones, sticks, buttons, charms, etc.
