[Sense]ation Day

Admission is free of charge. We invite visitors of all ages to participate in a multi-sensory experience of art and craft. Activities often include hands-on art making, artist demonstrations, family oriented tours of exhibitions, gallery games such as scavenger hunts, and musical or theatrical entertainment to captivate young and old alike.

ART MAKING

10:00 am – 3:00 pm | Studio A: Use colorful fibers and special tools to felt your own bookmark or bracelet! All ages, young children require adult supervision/assistance.

10:00 am – 3:00pm | Café: Make a animal mask inspired by Donna Dodson’s Zodiac artwork.

 GALLERY ACTIVITIES

11:00 am – 12:30 pm | Great Room: Join Wee The People for a fun, family-friendly workshop Bridges Not Walls, which explores immigration, borders, and family separation, featuring a musician on guitar for storytime. All ages.

10:00 am – 4:00 pm | Myron’s CURiOSiTY Cart, Hands-on activities
