Poppy-making Workshop with Jodi Colella
(November 16)

November 16, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

For Human Impact: Stories of the Opioid Epidemic, artist Jodi Colella created a towering sculpture from textiles to spark dialogue and cultivate awareness about a pressing social crisis. She will further this practice with a community art piece to be exhibited in Human Impact in April 2020. For this project, Jodi will work with participants to create poppies from donated clothing.  Her first workshop, offered during Crafting Dissent 2020, will include 2 hours of instruction on how to create a poppy, with the final creations forming the foundation of the community artwork.

Limited to 30 participants. Reserve your spot below.
