This 6-week workshop begins with a brief review of the history behind zine making and review different book-binding methods for handmade zines (a simple three hole, kettle stitch binding, and of course, the good old, staples on the spine.) Next, we’ll spend one lesson on narrative comics, one on collaging found material, one on storytelling (writing and visually), and one on visual interviews.
