Intro to Modern Calligraphy Workshop

Liz Roessler, of Lettering By Liz, is a calligrapher with 25+ years-experience, will teach the fundamentals of the technique of dipping a flexible, steel-nibbed pen into acrylic ink, introducing you to her favorite beginner’s lettering style “Romantic” which is her own creative interpretation of Copperplate mixed with elements of Italic…with a modern twist!

She focuses the instruction on recommendations & suggested goals for personal practice & study following class, dozens of cool ideas for using your calligraphy skills, interactive instruction on the proper way to hold the pen, healthy ergonomics & personalized 1-on-1 guidance.
