Join us for Free Fun Friday at Fuller Craft Museum on August 16th, 2019 for family fun and artmaking activities,
from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
11:00 am and 1:00 pm – Two performances featuring Laika – A Puppet Play
Laika tells the true story of the first ever animal to orbit the earth.
A stray mutt launched in Sputnik II serves as our protagonist as she whizzes through the Milky Way Galaxy and communicates with Sirius, the canine constellation of lore. This theatrical adaptation will feature puppetry, projection, music, and multi-media effects to weave an informative story that delights children and engages adult audiences equally. Performance runs about 45 minutes.
