Felted Bead Workshop

Felt beads are easy and enjoyable way to make colorful, elegant, lightweight jewelry—all you need is a little bit of wool roving and some soapy water. Combined with glass, metal or ceramic beads, the finished products can be strung to make a stunning necklace or bracelet that will surely make a statement. Instructor: Gwendolyn Gavin.

Some materials provide including: Wool roving, beading cord and additional findings, Needle, Olive oil soap

Students must bring the following:

• Suitable scissors for yarn or sewing
• Old bath towels
• Notebook and pencil
• Smock or wear clothes that can get wet
• Dish soap if olive oil soap not preferred.
• Additional stringing beads, if desired.
• Bagged lunch
