Love art? Enjoy people? Want to be valued and appreciated? We’ve got a job for you! Fuller Craft Museum is looking for people interested in training to become part of our enthusiastic group of volunteers who lead tours for the Museum. We’ll teach you about contemporary craft, help you develop public speaking skills, and provide the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy new experiences. We provide the training to become a Museum Educator. You bring the passion and commitment. Our volunteers and staff are a friendly group ready to help you learn to work with the school children, senior citizens, and other visitors who come to discover the wonderful art in our galleries. The majority of tours are done during weekdays with some weekend and Thursday night assignments. Fuller Craft Museum Educators receive free membership and other benefits.
Represent the Museum and build memberships by giving formal presentations to different communities outside the walls of the Museum. Companies, clubs, adult learning centers—these are some of the places where we travel to spread awareness about Fuller Craft Museum.
