This year, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Fuller Craft Museum is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.
This GivingTuesday, help us reimagine craft by supporting Fuller Craft Museum. Our goal of $6,000 will allow the kids of Brockton a chance to explore the glass arts from liquid to solid and everywhere in between through hands-on, artist led glass programming. To inspire creativity, this support will also allow the Museum to acquire a Paul Stankard glass orb, for its permanent collection. One of the country’s premier glass artists, the glass orb will offer enriching learning opportunities for our students.
Show your support on social media by taking a photo at our #FearNoCraft Unselfie Station located in the museum.
Now in its fifth year, #GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that inspires and celebrates giving of all kinds, on #GivingTuesday and year-round. Created in 2012 by 92nd Street Y, #GivingTuesday ignites collaboration between groups of people to make a difference – connecting individuals, local nonprofits, international philanthropic organizations, businesses, government, educational institutions, faith groups and community organizations through their shared experience of giving. This year, #GivingTuesday will be celebrated on November 29th.
