Storyteller Tim Van Egmond at 1:00 pm
Storyteller and folksinger Tim Van Egmond will captivate kids and parents with “the Story Bag.” Following an age-old tradition, listeners will choose one by one from an assortment of intriguing objects out of the colorful bag, each representing a tale for the telling. There will be participatory stories from all around the world about bugs and beasts, heroes and sillies, the sun and the snow. A multi-talented performer, Van Egmond will be accompanying himself with guitar, dulcimer, conga drum, and limberjack (a wooden puppet that taps out a rhythm dancing on a paddle board).
[Sense]ation Day is funded in part by the following cultural councils: Abington, Attleboro, Bridgewater, Brockton, Duxbury, Easton, Hanson, Halifax, Holbrook, Mansfield, Middleborough, Norton, Quincy, Scituate, Sharon. These local agencies support the arts with funding provided by Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. We are grateful for their support.
