Thanks to the Highland Street Foundation, Fuller Craft Museum will offer free admission to all visitors on Friday, August 19. Fuller Craft Museum will have a free family day with demos and hands-on craft activities for children and adults alike. Join us for the following fun activities.
10:00 am – 4:00 pm Hands-on crafts
POW! (Pots On Wheels!) mobile gallery/pottery studio, Beaded Bubble Wands, Rain Sticks are among the craft activities available throughout the day.
11:00 am Crocodile River Music Performance
Bamako 2 Boston, a high-energy, participatory concert focusing on the music and dance of Mali, West Africa. The capital of Mali is Bamako, which literally means “Crocodile River,” so who better than Crocodile River Music to be your guide on this journey. We feature many authentic instruments from Mali, including djembe, dundun, balafon, n’goni, calabash, talking drum, and karingya. This truly spectacular performance features performers with direct links to Mali and traditional costumes to virtually take you on a journey to the Crocodile River of Mali.

2:00 pm Massapoag Ukulele Group Performance
Free Fun Fridays is an annual 10-week summer program that opens the doors to some of the best cultural institutions in Massachusetts at no cost to visitors. This year, a record-breaking 50 venues will participate, which means that individuals, families and seniors can choose from five different venues each Friday to visit.
